Presentada en Perth (Australia) del 13 al 15 de febrero de 2015. Esta creación inaugura el Festival Internacional de Arte de Perth 2015 con un nuevo espectáculo con motivo del centenario de la Primera Guerra Mundial (Batalla de Gallipoli) - 1,4 millones de espectadores.
En el rincón del sur oeste de Australia Occidental había comunidades aborígenes llenas de misterios, una de ellos era un barco salido de la arena, sólo se veía la proa, lo demás estaba prisionero del suelo.
La Pequeña Gigante, ocupada en sus viajes, se encontró un día con una de estas comunidades aborígenes de la Nación Noongar, en una de estas familias enamoradas del barrad (cielo), del boodja (de la tierra), del yorgam (los arboles) y el keap (el agua).
La acogieron tan bien que decidió quedarse un largo tiempo con ellos. Fue entonces testigo de la evolución y del cambio de estos habitantes frente a la transformación del continente australiano. Vivió allí como en un beelya (rio) lleno de sueños saltando como peses.
Un día, uno de los niños de la comunidad le trajo un libro viejo lleno de dibujos. Estaba acartonado, agujerado, envejecido. Contaba la historia de una niña en un faro llena de amor y penas viendo salir a los soldados de Australia en barcos, con muchas esperanzas hacía batallas perdidas. Era en 1915 en las playas de Gallipoli donde la arena enrojecida por la sangre de los hombres asustaba a la luna.
A través de este libro, la Pequeña Gigante, mirando el cielo vio el pasado, el presente e incluso el futuro. Su mirada se sumergió en el corazón de la batalla y pudo ver a hombres desaparecer como de repente borrados de la tierra por una raya de goma en un dibujo. Vio también en ello un barco hundirse arrastrado por une ráfaga más fuerte que una catedral y tumbarse en el fondo del océano, luego un buzo australiano enviado por ir a buscar a supervivientes atascados en burbujas de aire.
Este en el fondo del mar, no veía ni a un alma que vivía y deicidio quedarse. Sin saberlo y por milagro, se puso a andar descolgando los cables y el aire que hinchaba sus pulmones. Al girar la cabeza, vio decenas de barcos tumbados en la arena. Metódicamente, entró en cada uno de los barcos y salió de ellos hombres muertos. Para cada uno cavó el suelo para enterarles y siguió, musculoso por la voluntad infernal de modo que alrededor de cada barco hundido, había un cementerio como pequeños montes de arena sin cruz únicamente pequeños barrigas que sobresalían del polvo.
Había así centenas alrededor de cada barco, tranquilos. Invadido por una locura sin nombre, siguió su obra.
Pero de cementerio en cementerio, su cuerpo se hizo más grueso, más denso y sin darse cuenta, un día pudo derrocar los barcos.
Tenía una fuerza monumental. Había crecido sincillamente como un niño en una bañera que brutalmente se da cuenta que sus pies tocan los grifos. Era sencillamente la historia de un Gigante vuelto grande en el fondo del mar.
La Pequeña Gigante de la región Noongar cerró la última página del libro. El pequeño aborigen, los ojos llenos de colores, fue entonces triste, en su mirada, un arco iris se fue volando en las nubes. Entendió entonces que la Pequeña Gigante tenía que marcharse para encontrar a su familia, y cuando el sol levantó el horizonte, se dio prisa por ir a buscar a su padre. Mientras las estrellas se escondieron en el cielo, acostadas detrás de la luz de la mañana, todo el pueblo de la nación Noongar vio una lágrima salir de los párpados de la Pequeña Gigante. Cuando alcanzó el suelo, hubo un pequeño charco tragado por la tierra. En este lugar mismo, cada uno pudo ver un árbol crecer en sólo dos horas.
De un pequeño brote apenas despertado, un tronco se desarrolló con muchas ramas cargadas de hojas que el viento se divertía mover. Sólo era un árbol en el Boodja (país). Entonces se dijo que el barco enterado podía navegar sobre la tierra para encontrar el buzo. Los Aborígenes se pusieron a cavar y en diez días el buque estuvo derecho en el suelo. La Pequeña Gigante trepó por él y los Noongares empezaron a cantar por la lluvia. Acompañada del sonido de los bumeranes cruzó Australia occidental.
La arena hacia olas, el boodja se llenaba de agua. En resumen, llegó a Minang Boodja (Albany) donde envió un gran balón tal una luna por encima del océano para llamar al buzo. Después se dirigió hacía Whadjuk Boodja (Perth). Llegada a la gran ciudad, se puso la cabeza bajo el agua y sopló burbujas que resonaron al fondo del agua.
Todo el mundo sabe que las ballenas oyen los sonidos a 5000 kilómetros de distancia cuando se llaman y que los pasos de la gente que camina por la acera resuenan hasta el centro de la tierra. Las burbujas de aire empujadas por la marea vinieron flotar alrededor del buzo Gigante. Con sus formas grandes, pequeñas o minúsculas, se siguieron en línea como un convoy de busques y una tras otra estallaron delante de los ojos del Gigante. Expresaron señales como el idioma del morsa: un punto, una raya, dos puntos luego nada y otra vez dos rayas y un punto. Era un idioma que un hombre del mar conocía bien. Pudo entonces leer las frases en que cada mensaje acababa por la palabra «ven».
Justo después haber entendido, fue rodeado por un tornado de peses. Rodeándole cada vez más rápido el remolino de fuerza se convirtió en una ráfaga de viento. Sobre la superficie, la niebla nerviosa se puso a toser tan fuerte que una tormenta tragó el fondo del agua proyectando el buzo en el cielo hasta las nubes. Luego como un cuerpo perdido, se cayó inconsciente en Perth. La tierra tembló y de repente un chorro de agua brotó del suelo entre dos edificios. Un géiser había nacido, como para saludar a través del espacio la llegada de los gigantes.
