Esta creación fue presentada como en el marco del evento Capital Nacional de la Cultura de Limerick (Irlanda) del 5 al 7 de septiembre de 2014. Este espectáculo refleja tanto la verdadera historia de Limerick como las leyendas de la ciudad - 230.000 espectadores.
Aquí tiene un cuento vivo al cual les proponemos asistir a la par que apartan a los niños y a los padres de este espectáculo, ya que el terror, la peina y la tristeza podrían provocar en ellos una depresión psicológica digna de los momentos más fuertes, de la hambruna irlandesa de 1845.
Les ruego que no presten ninguna atención a este flujo de imágenes incoherentes y sin embargo reales, ya que somos muy propensos a proteger sus espíritus delicados y revolucionarios.
Total que, un día una abuela irlandesa gigante cayéndose del cielo se encontró a horcajadas en un campo de patatas justo en medio del condado del Munster.
Los campesinos, sorprendidos por su aparición, la hospedaron en una granja de sus propiedades y cada día la alimentaron, se ocuparon de ella lo mejor posible.
Sin embargo, después de un tiempo, ya no teniendo recursos para mantenerla, la llevaron en un tren con destino a Limerick.
Para acoger la, hombres edificaron una pared de luz hecha con faros de automóviles como las estrellas de una galaxia bien ordenada. En cuanto salió de la estación, fue acogida por miles de personas venidas por todas partes de Irlanda.
Su lenguaje siendo más incomprensible que el de los más antiguos gaélicos, se pidió con prisa lo más antes la ayuda de un traductor con conocimientos de este idioma especial. Afortunadamente, su caja fuerte personal también caída del cielo sobre un coche de la ciudad, y que contenía la memoria de Limerick, le permitió contar las leyendas e historias de las grandes batallas sufridas durante los siglos pasados y desde hace mucho tiempo caídos en el olvido. Algunas imágenes por aquí y allí surgidas de su pasado vinieron obstruir la ciudad.
Por fin se fue, de pie, hacia su proprio entierro para dormir llevada por la corriente del Shannon dispersando sus recuerdos en los restos del mundo del mundo, levantando en sus equipajes la dignidad de Irlanda, propagando innumerable comunidades demostrando el ánimo y la fe de un pueblo lleno de una increíble fuerza lanzada como una jabalina de plata.
La abuela atravesando otra vez la galaxia esperará el día en que de nuevo caerá en las patatas del Munster.
