"L’incroyable et phénoménal voyage des Géants dans les rues de Perth", est présenté à Perth en Australie du 13 au 15 février 2015. Cette création inaugure le Perth International Arts Festival 2015 avec un spectacle inédit à l’occasion du centenaire de la Première Guerre mondiale (Bataille de Gallipoli) – 1,4 million de spectateurs.

Dans le coin Sud-Ouest de l’Australie Occidentale, il y avait des communautés aborigènes pleines de mystères, l'un de ces mystères était un bateau sorti du sable, on n'en voyait que la proue, le reste étant prisonnier du sol.

La Petite Géante, occupée par ses voyages, tomba un jour dans l'une des communautés aborigènes de la Nation Noongar, dans une de ces familles amoureuses du barrab (ciel), boodja (de la terre), yorgam (des arbres) et keap (de l'eau).

Elle fut si bien accueillie qu'elle décida de rester un long moment avec eux. Elle fut alors témoin de l’évolution et du changement de ces habitants face à la transformation du continent australien. Elle y vécut comme dans un beelya (fleuve) plein de rêves sautant comme des poissons.

Un jour, l’un des enfants de la communauté lui ramena un vieux livre plein de dessins. Il était racorni, froissé, vieilli. Il racontait l'histoire d'une petite fille dans un phare pleine d'amour et de chagrins voyant partir des soldats d'Australie sur des navires, chargés d'espoir vers des batailles perdues. C'était en 1915 sur les plages de Gallipoli où le sable rougi par le sang des hommes faisait peur à la lune.

A travers ce livre, la Petite Géante, en regardant le ciel vit le passé, le présent et même le futur. Son regard plongea en plein cœur de la bataille et elle put voir des hommes disparaître comme subitement effacés de la terre d’un trait de gomme sur un dessin. Elle y vit aussi un bateau couler arraché par une rafale plus forte qu'une cathédrale et s'allonger au fond de l'océan, puis un scaphandrier australien dépêché pour aller chercher des survivants coincés dans des bulles d'air.

Celui-ci au fond de la mer ne voyant plus âme qui vive décida d'y rester. Sans le savoir et par miracle, il se mit à marcher décrochant les câbles et l'air qui gonflait ses poumons. En tournant la tête, il vit des dizaines de bateaux allongés sur le sable. Méthodiquement, il entra dans chaque navire et en sortit des hommes morts. Pour chacun il creusa le sol pour les enterrer et il continua, musclé par une volonté infernale tant et si bien qu'autour de chaque bateau coulé, il y avait un cimetière comme des petits tas de sable sans croix juste des petits ventres qui dépassent de la poussière.

Il y en avait comme cela des centaines autour de chaque bateau, tranquilles. Pris par une folie sans nom, il continua son œuvre.

Mais de cimetière en cimetière, son corps devint plus épais, plus dense et sans s'en rendre compte, un jour il put renverser les navires.

Il avait une force monumentale. Il avait simplement grandi comme un enfant dans une baignoire qui brutalement s'aperçoit que ses pieds touchent les robinets. C'était simplement l'histoire d'un Géant devenu grand au fond de la mer.

La Petite Géante de la région Noongar ferma la dernière page du livre. Le petit Aborigène, les yeux pleins de couleurs, fut alors triste, dans son regard, un arc en ciel s'envola dans les nuages. Il comprit alors que la Petite Géante devait partir retrouver sa famille, et quand le soleil souleva l'horizon, il se dépêcha d'aller chercher son père. Alors que les étoiles s'étaient cachées dans le ciel, couchées derrière la lumière du matin, tous les gens de la nation Noongar virent une larme sortir des paupières de la Petite Géante. Quand elle toucha le sol, il y eut une petite flaque avalée par la terre. A cet endroit précis, chacun put voir un arbre grandir en l'espace de deux heures.

D'une petite pousse à peine réveillée, un tronc se développa plein de branches remplies de feuilles que le vent s'amusait à bouger. C'était juste un arbre dans le Boodja (pays). Alors elle se dit que le bateau enterré pouvait naviguer sur la terre pour trouver le scaphandrier. Les Aborigènes se mirent à creuser et en dix jours le navire fut droit sur le sol. La Petite Géante grimpa sur lui et les Noongars commencèrent à chanter la pluie. Accompagnée du son des boomerangs, elle traversa l'Australie Occidentale.

Le sable faisait des vagues, le boodja se remplissait d’eau. Bref, elle arriva à Minang Boodja (Albany) où elle envoya un grand ballon, tel une lune au-dessus de l'océan pour appeler le scaphandrier. Puis elle se dirigea vers Whadjuk Boodja (Perth). Arrivée dans la grande ville, elle mit sa tête sous l’eau et elle souffla des bulles qui résonnèrent au fond de l'eau.

Chacun sait que les baleines entendent les sons à 5000 kilomètres de distance quand elles s'appellent et que le bruit des pas des gens qui marchent sur les trottoirs résonne jusqu'au centre de la terre. Les bulles d'air poussées par la marée vinrent flotter autour du scaphandrier Géant. Avec leurs formes grandes, petites ou minuscules, elles se suivirent en ligne comme un convoi de bateaux et l'une après l'autre éclatèrent devant les yeux du Géant. Elles exprimèrent des signaux comme le langage du morse : un point, un trait, deux points puis rien et encore deux traits puis un point. C'était un langage que l'homme de la mer connaissait bien. Il put alors lire des phrases où chaque message finissait par le mot « viens ».

A peine après avoir compris, il fut entouré par une tornade de poissons. Le contournant de plus en plus vite le tourbillon de force devint une rafale de vent. Sur la surface, le brouillard énervé se mit à tousser si fort qu'une tempête avala le fond de l'eau projetant le scaphandrier dans le ciel jusqu'aux nuages. Puis comme un corps perdu, il retomba inconscient sur le sol à Perth. La terre trembla et subitement une gerbe d’eau jaillit du sol entre deux bâtiments. Un geyser était né, comme pour saluer à travers l’espace la venue des Géants.
