Roman photo, perfum of amnesium
« This show is actually the shooting of a Roman photo on a small square.
The ridiculous storyline, worthy cheesy love stories, gets crazy during the shooting and ends up in a real bloodshed. »
« Regarding the team, they take their work very seriously and are being the most inventive they can for the special effects “played it by ear” that they make with random materials. An aluminum frame is supposed to represent the picture taken by the camera. The actors take their place behind the frame and start posing, just like the snapshots of a picture cadenced by the voice of the artistic director. But the real show is somewhere else; it is in the backstage of the shooting, the dexterity and the poetic inventions of the technicians. »
The “Rail d’Or” award was given to Royal de Luxe for the show “Roman photo, shooting” following the contest “theatre enters the station” organized by the French railway company SNCF and the French Ministry of Culture.
In 1989, the show was given the “Critics Award of Santiago de Chile”, as well as the “Florencio Award" of Montevideo in Uruguay.
Testimonials
